Republican New York gubernatorial applicant Andrew Giuliani has been banned from a GOP key discussion with other candidates about his refusal to source evidence of vaccination.

Giuliani, 36, says he is prohibited from attending in man or woman at WCBS-Tv set thanks to the station's vaccine mandate. Giuliani will maintain a push conference protesting the predicament Sunday early morning, he declared in a news release.

"Though your rules will disrupt Monday’s debate, the genuine injustice is that insurance policies these kinds of as these have deprived entrance-line heroes this kind of as firefighters, police and health and fitness treatment employees of employment and positive aspects," Giuliani wrote in a statement to the station.

Giuliani has confirmed he will participate in the Monday evening debate remotely. He has also made ending all COVID-19 mandates a central part of his marketing campaign.

Giuliani, the son of former New York Town Mayor Rudy Giuliani, declared his bid to run against disgraced previous Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in May possibly. Candidates are vying for a probability to unseat Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.
