A Phoenix, Arizona house owner shot and killed two gentlemen who ended up attempting to break into the residence Saturday morning, law enforcement claimed, according to reports. 

When police arrived in advance of 8 a.m. in response to quite a few 911 calls, officers discovered the two alleged thieves on the floor in entrance of the home.

"Witnesses advised the officers the shooter was inside of the house subsequent to where by the guys ended up lying," Sgt. Philip Krynsky explained to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The two alleged burglars have been transported to independent hospitals, where they succumbed to their injuries.

Police explained the people detained in connection to the taking pictures gave regular tales of self-defense over the alleged attempted crack-in.  (iStock)

The males, thought to be in their 20s, have not however been determined.

Krynsky explained that the persons detained in relationship to the shooting gave consistent tales of self-defense in the course of the investigation into the incident.
