An Illinois person was billed Tuesday for the murders of his a few younger youngsters right after they have been identified unresponsive in his residence. 

Jason Karels, 35, faces a few counts of first-degree murder soon after he allegedly drowned his son Bryant, 5 his daughter Cassidy, 3 and his youngest son Gideon, 2.

They had been identified lifeless in Karels’ Round Lake Beach front residence, a northern suburb of Chicago, on Monday following their mom asked police to do a welfare check at his house. She was intended to choose up the kids for an appointment, according to FOX 32 in Chicago. 

Karels is the mother’s estranged husband, and they shared custody of the young children, according to FOX 32.

He was not at the home when the bodies were uncovered but led police on a substantial-speed chase immediately after he was found in his automobile.

The 17-moment chase ended with him driving off a bridge and landing in a wooded place in Joliet, Illinois, southwest of Chicago. 

He was taken to the healthcare facility and police explained he indicated he had killed the kids and experienced attempted to kill himself afterward. 

There was "a great deal of blood" at the scene but it wasn't the kid's, law enforcement explained, according to FOX 32.
