Police in New Hampshire have arrested a 19-12 months-old Massachusetts guy accused of a drunken boating crash in excess of the weekend that still left the vessel in the woods. 

Michael Smith, 19, from Hingham, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with boating even though intoxicated.

The incident allegedly unfolded around 10 p.m. Saturday on Lake Sunapee – northwest of Harmony – around the lake's yacht club, in accordance to New Hampshire Point out Police.

"Upon arrival, officers observed a 22’ Mastercraft about twenty toes on shore resting on a steep hill in trees and brush," police mentioned in a statement.

"The two occupants have been nonetheless in the vessel and had been not injured," the statement extra.

Police also mentioned the crash was "reportedly read across the lake at Blodgett Landing in Newbury."

Investigators say several organizations responded to the scene.

A 19-year-old was arrested and charged with boating while intoxicated.
