Two guys posing as FedEx employees busted into a New York Metropolis condominium and shot a man in the upper body through a violent theft very last week, authorities said.

The shooting occurred just in advance of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in an apartment in the vicinity of Willis Avenue and East 135 Road in the Bronx, law enforcement explained.

Law enforcement released surveillance video that displays a single of the unknown suspects wearing a FedEx shirt and carrying an unmarked box under his arm although approaching the apartment doorway from the hallway.

The target, a 23-12 months-old male resident, answered the doorway and the suspects pushed their way within, police mentioned. The suspects allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the chest prior to stealing his cell phone and fleeing in a black Nissan Rogue with a rear Connecticut license plate.
