An Oklahoma gentleman was arrested Friday just after authorities say he assaulted team at a Tulsa medical center and threatened to shoot doctors.

Officers responded to Ascension St. John Clinical Heart around 5:15 p.m. Friday and discovered a gentleman discovered as Reuben Cheatum handcuffed by medical center security, Tulsa police explained. 

Witnesses advised law enforcement they had overheard Cheatum yelling at a health care provider about the phone. 

"You have a couple of seconds ahead of I bust some caps in equally of you," Cheatum yelled, according to the health practitioner. Cheatum allegedly then began to count from 1 to 20.

Healthcare facility safety responded to Cheatum’s place, the place nursing team advised them that Cheatum experienced threatened to arrive back again and shoot medical practitioners, police explained.

Cheatum allegedly tried out to punch a stability officer, who then handcuffed the patient to the mattress till police arrived.

Cheatum’s arrest comes fewer than a week immediately after a different person was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot staff members at Hillcrest Medical Centre in Tulsa, and far more than a 7 days right after a gunman killed 4 people today, like his have medical professional who not long ago carried out back medical procedures on the shooter, prior to killing himself at the city’s Saint Francis Medical center.

Cheatum was booked in the Tulsa County Jail on prices of assault and battery on a health-related care provider and threatening a violent act.
