Phil Mickelson dealt with the media Wednesday in advance of LIV Golf’s 1st match and his initial competitors because he developed a firestorm with remarks about Saudi Arabia.

Mickelson would apologize for the opinions and readdress them once again Wednesday.

He included he has not resigned from the PGA Tour, contrary to Dustin Johnson and Louis Oosthuizen, who discovered Tuesday they resigned their memberships.

The United States Golf Affiliation mentioned it wouldn’t prohibit those people playing in LIV Golfing this weekend from playing in the U.S. Open.
