Phil Mickelson dealt with the media Wednesday in advance of LIV Golf’s 1st match and his initial competitors because he developed a firestorm with remarks about Saudi Arabia.

Mickelson would apologize for the opinions and readdress them once again Wednesday.

"I will not condone human rights violations at all. No person below does, through the world. I am absolutely mindful of what is actually occurred with Jamal Khashoggi, and I think it is really horrible," he claimed, via ESPN. "I've also noticed the great that the match of golf has done throughout heritage, and I believe that that LIV Golfing is going to do a good deal of excellent for the sport as well. The United States Golf Affiliation mentioned it wouldn’t prohibit those people playing in LIV Golfing this weekend from playing in the U.S. Open.
