A battle may well have proceeded the fatal Philadelphia capturing that claimed the life of 3 people today and wounded 12 other folks.

"At this time we believe that a single of the 3 deceased was a male concerned in a physical altercation with a further male that was most likely the genesis of the capturing," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw stated at a Sunday news conference. "These folks at some point started firing at a person a further, with both of those remaining struck, a person fatally."

Outlaw said that officers responding to the scene started managing gunshot victims when yet another officer noticed a male firing a handgun into the significant group, with the officer drawing his weapon and firing "several moments in the path of the mysterious male, we believe that hanging him."

The unfamiliar male then dropped his handgun and fled on foot, escaping capture from pursuing police.

The capturing took place on South Avenue, a preferred place of the town for tourism and nightlife. Police said that they had a beefed up presence in the place prior to the capturing, but pointed out that it is a large place for officers to deal with. 

The seem of gunfire despatched crowds of men and women scattering in distinct directions, with some of all those not involved in the altercation currently being struck by the gunfire.

"You can think about there were hundreds of folks enjoying South Road, as they do each and every single weekend, when this taking pictures broke out," Philadelphia Police Office Inspector D.F. Speed said of the incident Sunday.

Police are still seeking for the suspect who might have been wounded by a responding officer, asking the local community to send out in any strategies that could aid lead to an arrest.

"Yesterday was a dim working day for Philadelphia," Outlaw said. "While quite a few of us have been enjoying the lovely day in the metropolis, a horrendous and unthinkable act took place."
