A pro-selection protest in Sioux Falls, South Dakota Wednesday escalated as a number of hundred demonstrators marched down a street, blocking targeted traffic and police deployed smoke and declared an "unlawful assembly," according to stories. 

The protest, which police explained was not permitted, begun in downtown Sioux Falls around 7 p.m., in accordance to Dakota News Now.

The protesters chanted slogans like "Abort the Supreme Courtroom" and "My body, my choice" as they marched down the avenue, with some executing a sit-in on the road, the Argus Chief claimed.
