A father and his teenage son were being killed in a airplane crash past Sunday in Idaho, the Valley County Sheriff’s Business office said.

The victims had been recognized as Neal Humphrey, 48, and his son Cooper Humphrey, 15. 

The deceased have been traveling in a one-motor eco-friendly and tan Piper PA-20, which was supposed to arrive at Johnson Creek Airstrip in Valley County on the evening of June 26, the sheriff’s workplace said. Dispatchers have been told that the aircraft took off around 8 p.m. that night time.

Valley County dispatchers been given a call from the Idaho Division of Aeronautics on Monday morning notifying the sheriff’s business of an overdue aircraft.

A Forest Services plane described a crash internet site around 1.6 miles into Valley County just right before midday on Monday. The pilot claimed there was a compact fireplace at the crash site and that there did not show up to be any survivors.

"The site of the crash is a steep hillside that is a specified wilderness space," the sheriff's place of work explained in a assertion. Valley County deputies and Idaho Air Countrywide Guard arrived at the crash scene Tuesday and retrieved the victims' corpses. The Humphreys were the only persons on the plane.
