People collected in the streets of downtown Akron, Ohio, Sunday night to protest the lethal law enforcement shooting of Jayland Walker.

The protests arrive immediately after Akron police on Sunday released bodycam footage demonstrating officers fatally shoot 25-calendar year-aged Jayland Walker, an unarmed Black guy, immediately after a car and foot pursuit final Monday.

Mylett reported officers felt that Walker was going into a firing posture.

The taking pictures has sparked outrage from the community. Akron NAACP President Judi Hill claimed demonstrators are demanding "comprehensive accountability and prosecution" of the concerned officers.

"We are accomplished dying. We will not rest till there is total accountability and prosecution for this senseless murder. This seething hatred, concern, and hunting down of Black males in our communities at the hands of law enforcement need to finish," Hill explained, WHD 8 noted.

NAACP President Derrick Johnson reported Walker’s loss of life "was murder. Position blank."
