Senate leaders on Thursday released a bill that would conclude the federal prohibition of cannabis, permitting states to established their individual rules on the subject without the need of concern of reprisal from the federal governing administration.

Schumer, along with Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., unveiled a draft edition of the invoice just over a yr in the past.
