Tennis’ 21-time Grand Slam winner, Novak Djokovic, suggests he is "planning" as if he’ll be permitted to compete in August’s U.S. Open up in New York. 

Djokovic, who is coming off his seventh Wimbledon title, is not permitted to enter the United States due to his COVID-19 vaccination position. The U.S. needs non-U.S. citizens to clearly show evidence of staying totally vaccinated just before boarding a flight into the county, with restricted exceptions.

On Saturday, Djokovic posted a concept to his admirers on social media, indicating he is ready to listen to if he'll be capable to enter the United States for the U.S. Open.

"I really don't know. I you should not consider exemption is realistically attainable. If that is likelihood, I really don't know what exemption would be about.
