Lawmakers in Onondaga County, N.Y., handed a resolution to give a a person-time cash payment to particular senior citizens who are battling for the duration of a time period of higher inflation.

In get to qualify for the payments, seniors will need to previously be receiving New York's Enhanced STAR exemption from college property taxes for upcoming school 12 months. That exemption is for homes earning $60,000 and beneath, wherever the house owner is at least 65 a long time old.
