A Tennessee volunteer firefighter allegedly set a collection of suspicious fires that burned a church, Masonic Lodge and other buildings in a little community more than the earlier thirty day period.

Leslie Roy Winchester, 19, was arrested in connection to numerous fires that ended up set in the group of Waverly commencing in June, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) explained.

The to start with fire connected to Winchester transpired past thirty day period in the 5500 block of Bakerville Highway in Waverly, the TBI stated. Four other suspicious fires happened concerning July 1 and July 8 at numerous locations in the group.

Winchester was booked into the Humphreys County Jail on a $1,746,000 bond.
