"This is discrimination, simple and very simple," she said. "It’s element of a disturbing and risky nationwide craze of correct-wing politicians cynically focusing on LGBTQI+ learners, educators, and people to rating political details."

Jean-Pierre also stated the measure "encourages bullying and threatens students’ psychological health and fitness, physical safety, and properly-becoming."

Jean-Pierre claimed President Joe Biden has "been really distinct that every pupil justifies to experience risk-free and welcome in the classroom."

She declared that the Office of Education and learning programs to keep track of the regulation, and stated that "any university student or mother or father who thinks they are dealing with discrimination is inspired to file a grievance with the Department’s Office for Civil Rights." 

"Our Administration will proceed to combat for dignity and possibility for each and every scholar and family—in Florida and about the country," she claimed.

The preliminary invoice was dubbed the "Do not Say Gay" monthly bill by Democrats who falsely claim it bans any dialogue pertaining to remaining gay in the state's faculties.

The regulation does prohibit classroom instruction on "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" with children in 3rd quality or more youthful, "or in a manner that is not age-suitable or developmentally proper for college students in accordance with state expectations."
