Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp is set to give almost $2 billion back to taxpayers in the state amid his re-election contest with Democrat Stacey Abrams.

Kemp declared Thursday afternoon that Ga has a budget surplus of $5 billion and said a bulk of the funds would be returned to taxpayers by different initiatives.

"I consider that isn't the government's funds," Kemp claimed at a news convention in the condition Capitol, FOX 5 of Atlanta reported. "It can be yours and our position isn't really to spend it all just since we can."
