California university directors sued for discrimination over conservative flyers

College students from a campus chapter of Young Americans for Liberty are suing their higher education for allegedly discriminating towards the conservative group for publishing and distributing flyers.

3 YAF college student leaders filed the lawsuit in federal court docket in California on Thursday, alleging Clovis Neighborhood Faculty directors violated their 1st Modification rights by buying the removal of flyers that promoted the conservative nationwide organization’s Freedom Week in November 2021.

The lawsuit, filed by the Foundation for Specific Rights and Expression, lists Clovis Group Faculty President Lori Bennett, Vice President of Scholar Services Marco De La Garza, Dean of Scholar Providers Gurdeep Sihota Hebert, and Senior University student Products and services Method Expert Patrick Stumpf as defendants.
