At minimum three folks have been hurt in a capturing near a Sikh temple in Stockton, California, that took put Saturday evening.

The Stockton Police Section had responded to a report of a capturing around 6:40 p.m. ET. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they spotted the three victims. Very first responders transported the wounded to a medical center with non-lifestyle-threatening injuries.

General public information officer Joe Silva explained to KTLA-Tv that the shooting happened throughout an event close to Sikh Temple Street but it was not on the temple's home nor connected to it, police said in a statement. 

The suspects and the victims are all Sikh and it was believed to have been focused, in accordance to law enforcement.

Law enforcement did not release any information about likely suspects.
