Christian Vazquez posted a heartfelt tribute on social media to his previous team soon after the Boston Red Sox traded him to the Houston Astros in advance of the deadline before this week.

In an unconventional fashion, the Pink Sox catcher only had to go via the clubhouse to arrive at his new workforce. Houston and Boston had been scheduled to engage in that night.

Vazquez posted a touching take note on Instagram, recalling his time in Boston and their run to a Earth Series championship in 2018.

"My extended family members. There are a whole lot of mixed feelings as I am writing this. It has been a 15 yrs that we have put in jointly. Starting back in 2008 when I was drafted by the Red Sox and I left household at 17. Heading by the minors and last but not least building it to the big present in 2014, with all of you guiding me. Then in 2015 getting Tommy John and therapeutic from that. To 2018, the excellent season, when I and you became Environment CHAMPIONS," he wrote.

"Red Sox Nation has been with me all the way. You have seen me improve up as a human being and as a participant. I went as a result of all the insignificant league groups, from the extended rookie time, Lowell Spinners, Greenville Push, Salem Pink Sox, Portland Sea Canine, and the Pawtucket Pink Sox, and I have so substantially to be grateful for. The coaches, clubhouse workers, trainers, and teammates who turned my relatives for the duration of my time in all of the Crimson Sox groups, I am endlessly grateful, for you aided me when I was away from my family and I felt supported by you.

Vazquez also told enthusiasts of his new staff he was all set to help the Astros get a further Earth Series ring.
