Deputies arrested a Washington man who could have had strategies to commit a mass taking pictures for the duration of a live performance at the Gorge Amphitheater Friday night.

Folks attending the "Bass Canyon Competition" documented a suspicious guy in the parking large amount to security officers, according to a Grant County Sheriff's Workplace news launch. Witnesses say they observed the male, later discovered as 31-calendar year-outdated Jonathan R. Moody, inhale an unfamiliar gasoline from a balloon, load two 9mm pistols from the trunk of his car or truck and tuck equally weapons within his waistband.

Moody then allegedly requested people what time the live performance ended and the place individuals would be exiting the location. 

Location security detained Moody outside the venue gates and disarmed him of the two loaded 9mm pistols.

Moody was arrested on suspicion of one particular rely of possession of a unsafe weapon, and one count of illegal carrying or handling of a weapon. He was booked into the Grant County Jail.

The Bass Canyon electronic dance tunes competition was bought out Friday evening, meaning upwards of 25,000 people have been at possibility of being hurt, GCSO says. 

No person was injured in the incident, and Moody did not make any statements to deputies.

Deputies are applying the opportunity to remind associates of the public to converse up if they see something out of the common. 

"Thank you to the concertgoers who claimed this man, and to location security for trying to keep the person from receiving inside the live performance location," a GCSO assertion reads.
