Jason Jenkins, the Miami Dolphins’ senior vice president of communications and neighborhood affairs, died quickly on Saturday, the staff introduced. He was 47.

"Our hearts are broken and grieving the loss of a man who was a pricey buddy and beloved by so several men and women," stated Tom Garfinkel, the Dolphins’ vice chairman, president and CEO. "Jason faithfully served the Dolphins business for 14 a long time, was a beacon in the neighborhood, a trailblazer and winner for others, and above all, treated people today with a kindness and dignity that left a lasting mark on everybody he fulfilled. Miami team proprietor Stephen Ross mentioned he was "heartbroken."

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel was psychological subsequent the team’s activity.
