Emails from a California doctor to his wife, whom he is accusing of abuse just after she allegedly poisoned him with drain-cleaning fluid, reveal a tumultuous partnership and an "incapacity to communicate," in accordance to courtroom paperwork.

Dr. Jack Chen, a 53-year-outdated medical doctor, is accusing his 45-12 months-old spouse, Dr. Yue "Emily" Yu, of spiking his drinks on numerous occasions with domestic chemicals, leaving Chen with what he states are inside accidents as a end result of the drain cleaner fluid.

Judge Thomas Lo on Thursday granted a short-term restraining get separating Yu and her little ones.

"[M]y youngsters and I experienced from the abuse by Emily and her mom, Amy," the court filing states.
