The San Francisco Giants announced the loss of life of Cristin Coleman, the spouse of previous Cy Younger winner Tim Lincecum, on Thursday. She handed away earlier this summer season at 38 just after battling most cancers. 

The organization shared a message on social media calling Coleman a "beloved" member of the Giants, where her husband used the vast majority of his 10-calendar year job, culminating in 3 Globe Series championships.

"The Giants were extremely saddened to understand of the passing of Tim Lincecum’s spouse, Cristin Coleman. Our deepest condolences go out to Tim, Cristin’s loved ones, and all those people whose lives she touched as a good friend and teacher," the assertion examine.

In accordance to the San Mateo Everyday Journal, Coleman handed absent at her dwelling, surrounded by family June 27 just after a fight with cancer. She was a longtime educator and principal at the Washington Elementary College in Burlingame, California.

Shana Daum, senior vice president of communications and group relations for the Giants, informed the San Francisco Chronicle that the staff uncovered of Coleman’s passing – and the latest marriage to Lincecum – on Thursday. 

"Tim is really private, and we honor and regard his privacy," Daum explained to the outlet. "Our hearts are large in discovering this news."

A four-time All-Star, a few-time Planet Collection champ, and two-time Cy Younger winner, Lincecum was drafted 10th over-all by the Giants in 2006. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2016 on a one-year contract.
