House Minority Chief Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is threatening to examine Attorney Standard Merrick Garland for approving an FBI raid of previous President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday, alleging the Division of Justice’s final decision to research the home was politically enthusiastic.
