A naked Florida person threw a machete at a different person and tried out to rob him of his clothes on Monday, authorities reported.

Deputies responded to an spot in close proximity to the Volusia County Fairgrounds shortly before 10 a.m. after a surveyor documented that a bare man approached him with a substantial machete-fashion knife, the Volusia County Sheriff's Workplace explained.

The target advised deputies that the suspect was picking palmetto berries in the woods and ran out of the brush brandishing the machete and demanding his clothes, wallet and telephone.

He explained he commenced to give the products around to the suspect when the bare guy hurled the machete and a handful of berries at him. Deputies mentioned the handle of the machete hit the sufferer in the chest and he wasn’t hurt.

The suspect fled into the wooded region and took off in a white Dodge Challenger, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.

A responding deputy realized the instances and suspect description were being equivalent to one more incident in August 2021 involving a man named Brandon Wright, who was observed operating bare in the exact location, according to authorities.
