1 of Shaquille O’Neal’s previous Los Angeles Lakers teammates experienced a powerful critique for the NBA legend’s son soon after he performed in the course of the NBA Summer time League in July.

Shareef O’Neal was on the Lakers’ summer months squad but did not do enough to make a location on the roster. In accordance to The Athletic, he signed a deal with G League Ignite.

Robert Horry, who received a few of his seven rings with the Lakers, said in an episode of the "Big Shot Bob" podcast he was not sure the youthful O’Neal had what it will take to make it in the NBA.

"I picked up my cell phone, and I was getting prepared to simply call Shaq like ‘Yo guy, you gotta explain to your son…he simply cannot be actively playing off the damn O’Neal title. He gotta go out there and engage in.’ You gotta put forth some additional hard work gentleman," Horry claimed.

Shareef O’Neal played three seasons in higher education among UCLA and LSU. He averaged 2.6 factors and 3 rebounds per activity in 37 game titles. He never created a start off in college or university.
