NYPD officers had been assailed with traveling bottles and fists from a team of adult men whilst detaining a male for possession of a firearm after the Dominican Day parade in the Bronx on Sunday, in accordance to a community report.

The incident transpired at the intersection of 168th Avenue and Sheridan Avenue about 3 several hours immediately after a guy was shot close by along the parade route, law enforcement resources informed the New York Post. The team of adult males was reportedly drinking in the street and blocking targeted visitors.

The group included users of a Dominican gang referred to as the Trinitarios, the resources told the paper.

A Twitter person posted online video of the alleged incident that reveals officers pin a guy on the floor although detaining him for possession of a firearm, the report claimed.

Bystanders can be observed in the video confronting the officers. A person person in a yellow shirt appears to walk towards and officer, with each increasing their fists at just about every other. It was unclear whether or not anyone was hit.
