Yaqub Salik Talib, the brother of former NFL star Aqib Talib, turned himself into authorities Monday immediately after a warrant was issued for his alleged involvement in a deadly Texas shooting, police said.

Talib, 39, was named a suspect in the shooting at a youth soccer recreation in Lancaster that left just one lifeless. A initially-diploma felony murder warrant was later issued, police explained, and he turned himself in to Dallas County Jail.

Witnesses told investigators the disagreement was in between the coaching staff of two youth soccer groups and the referees, police stated. The coaches had concerns with some calls produced by the officiating crew.

"Aqib was current when this unlucky incident occurred and is extremely distraught and devastated around this terrible loss of life. He would like to convey his condolences to the loved ones of the sufferer and to absolutely everyone who witnessed this regrettable tragedy," his attorney mentioned.
