A California gentleman has been arrested for leaving a pup for useless previously this month – reportedly violating his misdemeanor probation, authorities say.

The Vallejo man – whose id has not been exposed – allegedly abandoned the French Bulldog dog in a fuel station dumpster on August 18. 

A client reportedly uncovered the pet wrapped in a plastic grocery bag when throwing their have trash out. 

Right after ripping the bag open up and discovering the doggy, the client notified a close by attendant, who alerted authorities.

A Solano County sheriff's officer uncovered the young French Bulldog unresponsive but he was even now alive. 

"The officer checked for indications of existence and was in a position to determine the pet was alive, but scarcely," Solano Sheriff’s Animal Manage Providers wrote on Facebook.

Authorities transported the dog to a veterinarian, who was in a position to stabilize the dog's problem. The pup – although not fully healed but — is staying cared for by the county's animal manage division.

Officials say the suspect admitted to throwing the pup in the dumpster mainly because he thought it was dying.

"They mentioned the puppy dog experienced just lately gotten diarrhea and was 'just dying,'" Solano Sheriff’s Animal Control Providers wrote on Fb. "They admitted to by no means trying to look for veterinary care for the dog."

In addition to felony animal abuse, the suspect has been billed with willfully abandoning an animal and violating his misdemeanor probation. 

Authorities have not exposed his past violation, but the suspect has been booked into a Solano County jail.
