A 12-12 months-previous Utah baseball player making ready for the Very little League Earth Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, was seriously injured early Monday morning soon after slipping out of his bunk mattress and hitting his head.  

Easton Oliverson, who plays for the Snow Canyon Small League group out of Santa Clara, Utah, suffered a fractured cranium after slipping off the major bunk at the Williamsport dormitory complicated and was placed in a medically induced coma, in accordance to TMZ.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Oliverson no more time necessary a breathing tube and his loved ones supplied an update on his condition, declaring that the 12-12 months-previous has made "incredible progress." 

"Just 36 hours in the past, Easton was 30 minutes from passing away," the spouse and children mentioned, per TMZ. "Now 36 several hours afterwards, he has a staff of Trauma 1 physicians who are in absolute awe of his large progress."

Oliverson was airlifted Monday to a Pennsylvania children's healthcare facility, in which he underwent crisis operation.
