A man accused of shooting a police officer in the deal with and then top SWAT on an hours-extended standoff in southern California is in custody.

The Arcadia Police Office was to begin with dispatched to the scene all-around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, responding to a contact of a guy with a firearm that was "disturbing the peace," Arcadia PD Lt. Brett Bourgeous claimed during a push meeting. 

The disturbance involved two brothers, just one of which had a firearm, Bourgeous stated.

The second civilian is not the relatives member of the suspect, and was most likely strike by shrapnel, an Arcadia law enforcement spokesman stated.

The triple capturing prompted the SWAT reaction. The standoff prolonged just earlier 10:30 p.m., FOX 11 described.

A Thursday morning tweet from the Arcadia Law enforcement Division thanked all helping businesses. 

The conditions of the a few shooting victims taken to the medical center and the id of the officer injured have not been released. 

The suspect in custody has not been identified.
