An off-obligation deputy constable in Texas was shot and killed as he drove dwelling from finding up evening meal for his relatives on Sunday night, authorities reported.

Omar Ursin, a deputy constable with the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable’s Workplace, was identified as the male killed in the shooting, the constable’s workplace explained.

"It is with large hearts and utter disbelief that we share the tragic news of the senseless murder of one of our personal, Deputy Omar Ursin," the constable’s office stated.

Ursin was driving his family’s car about 6:30 p.m. in the 11900 block of Madera Run Parkway in Atascocita when the capturing happened, Harris County regulation enforcement officials stated.

Investigators consider the first shots ended up fired as Ursin and the suspect car drove earlier a center university in Timber. Ursin then crashed into a tree in the median of the roadway, FOX26 Houston reported. 

Ursin was shot at least at the time and pronounced dead at a medical center, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez explained.

No arrests have been designed. 

Homicide detectives are investigating.

Gonzalez claimed that a car or truck fleeing the scene of the shooting was explained as a dim-coloured, more recent product sedan with tinted home windows. The auto sped away eastbound on Madera Operate Parkway ahead of heading north on Olympic Countrywide Push.

Officials termed on people who dwell in the region to test their household surveillance cameras for footage of the incident or the fleeing suspect car or truck.
