A vegan mom in Florida was sentenced to everyday living in jail adhering to a initial-diploma murder conviction for the death of her 18-thirty day period-previous son.

Sheila O'Leary, 38, was convicted in June soon after her son Ezra died from what prosecutors claimed were "issues from intense malnutrition and dehydration."

"This baby did not try to eat. He was starved to demise above 18 months," Francine Donnorummo, the unique victims unit main at the Lee County Condition Attorney’s Office, claimed at the trial.

The little one died on Sept. 27, 2019. At the time, police claimed, he weighed just 17 lbs. In addition to the murder demand, O'Leary was convicted of aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter, boy or girl abuse and two counts of youngster neglect.

Her spouse, Ryan Patrick O’Leary, awaits demo on the very same charges. Sheila and Ryan have been both of those indicted by a grand jury in Lee County, Florida, on Dec. 18. 2019.
