Stunning video clip captured the second a waterspout slammed into a small island in Maryland on Thursday, as severe weather conditions wrecked the Previous Line State’s shores.

The video clip exhibits the twister swirling around water and heading to Smith Island off the Chesapeake Bay.

The video, taken by Amy and Daniel Somers, reveals particles flying in the air as the waterspout approached land.
