Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson was presented a 3-game suspension for building make contact with with an umpire through Friday night’s 7-3 loss towards the Oakland Athletics.

La Russa echoed that sentiment after the suspension was declared. 

"Did you see how the interaction happened?" he stated Saturday. "The way we see it, there’s an argument to be produced that the umpire did not transfer back again, he was shifting ahead as effectively."

Anderson declined to address the suspension about the weekend, but this is not his initial operate-in with the league place of work.
