An American vacationer was killed by a shark during a holiday in the Bahamas, according to nearby authorities.

The 58-12 months-outdated girl was on a snorkeling excursion with her relatives when she was fatally maimed by a bull shark.  

"It is further more claimed that loved ones members noticed a bull shark attacking the feminine," law enforcement explained, according to Reuters. Tour organization workers and relatives associates rushed to rescue the female.

The victim, who was a Pennsylvania resident, was taken a regional healthcare facility and declared useless. Police say that her upper physique sustained injuries.

The girl and her relatives had been travellers on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas cruise. According to Royal Caribbean Global, it was an impartial shore excursion.
