U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is giving the folks of China a "congratulations" on behalf of the U.S. as the place celebrates the People's Republic of China Nationwide Working day.

The People's Republic of China National Day celebrates the founding of the People's Republic of China, which took place on Oct. 1, 1949.

Previous President Donald Trump also congratulated the persons of China during the getaway, which celebrates the People’s Republic of China's founding after communist forces won the country's civil war, according to The Hill.

Blinken's feedback occur just after President Joe Biden said the U.S. will defend Taiwan if China made a decision to invade the island.

Biden produced the remark during an job interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" that aired on Sept. 18. The president was questioned by Scott Pelley if the U.S. army would defend Taiwan.
