South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley took a stand when a BYU lover was accused of hurling a racial slur from a Duke women’s volleyball player late past month.

The Gamecocks canceled a two-recreation sequence against the BYU women’s crew in retaliation for the alleged slur. Nevertheless, BYU observed no evidence the volleyball participant was subjected to racial slurs.

BYU concluded its investigation into the slur claim and introduced its findings on Sept. 9.
