Quinton was last observed in the early morning several hours of Oct. 5, inside of his family’s home on Buckhalter Highway in Savannah. Neighborhood news station WCJL documented that Simon explained to a police dispatcher that she awoke to come across "her doorway was open up," and her son lacking. She allegedly said Quinton was "unable to open up a door" and that she imagined "somebody arrived in and took him."

On Thursday, Chatham County Police determined Quinton’s mother as "the primary suspect in his disappearance and loss of life."
