A superior-pace chase in Texas past 7 days involving human smuggling finished with just one illegal immigrant dead and four other folks wounded when their vehicle rolled around into a river, authorities stated Tuesday. 

The chase began just following 2 a.m. on Oct. 13, when a Texas Office of Public Basic safety trooper tried out halting a black Chevy pickup truck for a targeted traffic violation on U.S. Route 377 in Edwards County, a DPS assertion reported. 

The driver, discovered as Ruben Sandoval, 40, of Austin, failed to prevent, the company explained. Dashcam footage from a DPS patrol motor vehicle displays the chase at excess speeds. At one issue, Sandoval approached a curve and misplaced management.
