Tom Brady had five words to offer Thursday when he was asked if he planned on retiring soon.

"No retirement in my future," the seven-time Super Bowl champion said.

The comment, from the man many consider to be one of the greatest football players of all time, arrives at a moment of much speculation over the 45-year-old Brady's marital future.

Brady is in the midst of his 23rd season in the NFL after returning from a short-lived off-season retirement and a time of apparent contention with his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

The pair broke the internet when it was reported that they had each retained divorce lawyers.

Bundchen has also not been at any of Brady's games this season, which has seen the Tampa Bay Buccaneers get off to a slow 3-3 start, according to a report.

It is widely believed that Bundchen does not support her husband continuing his career and that Brady's slow start is a reaction to the problems in his personal life.
