Two police officers had been killed and two others injured early on Wednesday when heavily-armed assailants opened hearth at a police station bordering Afghanistan in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a police official stated.

The unidentified gunmen focused the Raghzai police station in South Waziristan district which borders Afghanistan, the official stated.

Two Sub Inspectors recognized as Farman and Fareed died within the assault whereas two constables had been injured within the shootout, in keeping with the official.
