A number of Ukrainian embassies have obtained “bloody packages” containing animal eyes, the overseas ministry mentioned, after a collection of letter bombs had been despatched to addresses in Spain together with Ukraine’s embassy in Madrid.

The packages, soaked in a liquid with a particular color and scent, had been despatched to embassies in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia and Italy, to normal consulates in Naples and Krakow, and the consulate in Brno, spokesperson Oleg Nikolenko mentioned.
