Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey urged the social media platform’s new CEO Elon Musk to release the entirety of the remaining “Twitter Files” following the firing of its general counsel James Baker.

On Tuesday, Baker was “exited” from Twitter following the “Twitter files” information dump, which included the social media platform’s behind-the-scenes musings on the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story. Musk claimed Baker gave "unconvincing" answers when questioned about his role in the suppression of the story.

Musk has hinted at releasing even more content that seems to show “a very different standard applied to Republican candidates in the U.S. versus Democrat candidates.”

On Wednesday, Dorsey called on Musk to do so “without filter,” and explain Twitter’s plans for addressing “transparency” concerns that have arisen.

“If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves?” Dorsey tweeted. “Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now.”

Musk responded to Dorsey: "Most important data was hidden (from you too) and some may have been deleted, but everything we find will be released."

Earlier this week, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) suggested information contained in the “Twitter files” indicates “a cover-up at the highest levels of government to protect Joe Biden.”
