Residents of Boulder, Colorado, only need to wait a little longer before they can apply for a rebate program that will give them some extra cash to put food on the table.

The Colorado city offers the Food Tax Rebate Program to its low- and middle-income residents annually and offers applicants $99 for individuals and $302 for applicants with dependents, according to the city of Boulder.

BIG MONEY: $2 BILLS FROM 1890 COULD BE WORTH OVER $4,500

Applications for this rebate will open on March 1, after which Boulder residents will have four months to apply. All applications will be due on June 30.

To be eligible, an applicant must have lived in Boulder for the entire 2022 calendar year and have been 62 years old throughout 2022, be a person with a disability, or have a family with children under 18 in the household throughout 2022. Additionally, an applicant's income cannot surpass a certain limit that varies depending on his or her family size, with the limit being $43,900 for individuals, $50,200 for a family of two, and $56,450 for a family of three. The limit increases slightly as the household size increases.

Any city residents who do not have permanent shelter in the city are eligible for the refund if they provide documents showing they are receiving services from a city-recognized homelessness services agency.

Additional information regarding this rebate program can be found by calling 720-955-8486 or emailing foodtaxrebateprogram@bouldercolorado.gov.
