The EU’s overseas coverage chief Josep Borrell stated on Sunday that Brussels was able to impose new sanctions on Belarus if Minsk have been to host Russian nuclear weapons.

“Belarus internet hosting Russian nuclear weapons would imply an irresponsible escalation and risk to European safety. Belarus can nonetheless cease it, it’s their alternative. The EU stands prepared to reply with additional sanctions,” he tweeted.
