Aaron Rodgers did not take much too kindly to the reviews Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton made about recent New York Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Payton torched Hackett and the Broncos’ 2022 coaching team in an interview with Usa Today. Rodgers is a longtime Hackett supporter from their days with the Green Bay Packers. Hackett was the Packers’ offensive coordinator, and took the Broncos head coaching task last year, but immediately after he was fired, arrived to the Jets along with Rodgers.

The 4-time MVP was at Jets instruction camp on Sunday talking with NFL Network’s Peter Schrager when he torched Payton for his feedback.

Payton apologized on Friday immediately after he identified as the Broncos’ 2022 period "just one of the worst coaching careers in the record of the NFL."
