Magnus White, a 17-12 months-previous American bicycle owner who was schooling in Colorado ahead of the future world championships in Scotland, was struck by a car and died close to his household over the weekend.

United states Biking confirmed White’s death on Sunday.

"He was a increasing star in the off-road biking scene and his passion for biking was apparent by his racing and camaraderie with his teammates and neighborhood local community," the group reported in a statement.

White was on a teaching trip in Boulder, Colorado, when he was struck by a auto and afterwards died.

He was a rising multidisciplinary star in the sport. He received a junior countrywide championship in cyclocross in 2021 and earned a position on the U.S. countrywide staff. He competed as a member of Workforce United states in Europe ahead of last year’s cyclocross environment championships.

He was picked to depict the U.S. once again at this year’s cyclocross worlds in the Netherlands.
