White Residence press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday that President Biden is certainly jogging for reelection in 2024.

During the each day White House press briefing, WHD News’ Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre whether or not Biden would run, amid problems by Democratic strategists about the president’s age, which will be 82 at the start out of his 2nd phrase.

"Very first of all, let’s reset for a second," Jean-Pierre responded. "I are not able to speak about elections. I simply cannot be a political analyst from here or, you know, or the midterms or nearly anything like that or which includes 2024."

"The president, as you know, has been questioned that problem lots of times, and he has answered it," she included. "His remedy has been pretty easy, which is, certainly, he's jogging for reelection. I cannot say far more than that."

The White House reaction arrived two days soon after remarks by David Axelrod, President Barack Obama's chief strategist, who instructed The New York Instances: "The presidency is a monstrously taxing occupation and the stark reality is the president would be nearer to 90 than 80 at the conclusion of a second expression, and that would be a key problem."

"Democrats need clean, daring management for the 2024 presidential race. That just cannot be Biden," attorney and Democratic Nationwide Committee member Shelia Huggins instructed the paper.

Biden has mentioned in the past that he strategies on running for reelection "if I am in superior wellbeing."
